Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Prepare the cabbage by removing outer leaves, rinsing, slicing into quarters, and chopping into bite-sized pieces.
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter and sauté the chopped onion for about 5 minutes until translucent.
Add minced garlic and stir for an additional minute.
Stir in the chopped cabbage and cook for 8-10 minutes until tender.
Prepare the rice if not done already and set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cabbage mixture, cooked rice, beaten eggs, shredded cheese, salt, pepper, and paprika. Mix well.
Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with remaining melted butter and pour the mixture into the dish.
Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
Remove foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until golden and bubbly.
Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
