Ingredients
  

Tuna

  • 1 can Canned Tuna Packed in water or oil, about 5 ounces.

Condiments

  • 2 tablespoons Mayonnaise Regular or light, for creaminess.
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard Yellow or Dijon for tanginess.

Cheese

  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese Cheddar or mozzarella for melting.

Bread

  • 2 slices Bread Sourdough, whole grain, or white.

Seasonings

  • to taste Salt

Optional Toppings

  • Sliced Tomatoes For added flavor.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Drain the canned tuna thoroughly.
  • In a bowl, combine tuna, mayonnaise, and mustard. Mix until creamy.
  • Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Prepare the bread on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Scoop the tuna mixture onto each slice of bread.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheese over the tuna mixture.
  • Bake for 10-15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  • Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
  • Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
