Instructions
 

  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine olive oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, minced garlic, black pepper, and optional red pepper flakes. Whisk until fully integrated.
  • Cut the steak into bite-sized pieces, ensuring uniform size for even cooking.
  • Place steak pieces in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish. Pour marinade over steak, ensuring each piece is well-coated. Seal and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, up to 2 hours.
  • Preheat a large skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  • Add marinated steak bites in a single layer, avoiding overcrowding. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until desired doneness is reached.
  • Remove steak bites from skillet and let rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
  • Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently to maintain tenderness.
