Instructions
Gather all the ingredients for the marinade.
Squeeze the juice of 2-3 lemons into a mixing bowl and zest one lemon.

Season the marinade with salt and pepper, adjusting to taste.
Place chicken breasts in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over them.
Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Preheat grill or skillet over medium-high heat, adding olive oil if using a skillet.
Remove chicken from marinade and cook on one side for 6-7 minutes.
Flip the chicken and cook for another 6-7 minutes until cooked through.
