Ingredients
  

Lasagna Noodles

  • 12 sheets Lasagna Noodles Regular or no-boil noodles.

Ground Chicken

  • 1 pound Ground Chicken Cooked until browned.

Cheese

  • 15 ounces Ricotta Cheese Adds richness to the lasagna.
  • 2 cups Mozzarella Cheese Shredded, for layering.
  • 1 cup Parmesan Cheese Grated, for topping.

Sauce

  • 3 cups Marinara Sauce Good-quality sauce is crucial.

Egg

  • 1 Egg Helps bind the ricotta mixture.

Herbs

  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Basil Chopped, for flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Oregano Chopped, for flavor.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground chicken and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Drain excess fat and add marinara sauce. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  • In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, egg, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
  • Spread a thin layer of chicken sauce on the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Layer three lasagna noodles over the sauce, then spread half of the ricotta mixture on top.
  • Add half of the chicken sauce, followed by mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
  • Repeat layering with remaining noodles, ricotta, chicken sauce, mozzarella, and parmesan.
  • Finish with a final layer of noodles, remaining chicken sauce, mozzarella, and parmesan.
  • Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  • Remove foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  • Let sit for 10-15 minutes before slicing and serving.
