Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground chicken and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
Drain excess fat and add marinara sauce. Simmer for 5 minutes.
In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, egg, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
Spread a thin layer of chicken sauce on the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Layer three lasagna noodles over the sauce, then spread half of the ricotta mixture on top.
Add half of the chicken sauce, followed by mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
Repeat layering with remaining noodles, ricotta, chicken sauce, mozzarella, and parmesan.
Finish with a final layer of noodles, remaining chicken sauce, mozzarella, and parmesan.
Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
Remove foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
Let sit for 10-15 minutes before slicing and serving.
