  • 1 pound Ground Beef Lean ground beef for a hearty filling.
  • 2 tablespoons Taco Seasoning A blend of spices to enhance the beef flavor.
  • 8 small Tortillas Soft corn or flour tortillas, warmed.

Fresh Toppings

  • 1 cup Shredded Lettuce Finely shredded iceberg or romaine.
  • 1 cup Diced Tomatoes Fresh tomatoes for juiciness.
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese Cheddar or Mexican blend cheese.
  • ½ cup Sour Cream For creaminess and tang.
  • 1 whole Avocado Sliced or diced for added creaminess.
  • ¼ cup Fresh Cilantro Chopped for garnish.
  • 1 whole Lime Cut into wedges for serving.

Instructions
 

  • Prepare your ingredients by gathering all necessary items.
  • In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat and add the ground beef. Cook until browned, about 5 to 7 minutes.
  • Drain excess fat and sprinkle taco seasoning over the beef. Stir to coat.
  • Add ½ cup of water and simmer for about 5 minutes until the mixture thickens.
  • Warm the tortillas in a skillet or oven until pliable.
  • Assemble the tacos by placing beef in the center of a tortilla, followed by lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, sour cream, avocado, cilantro, and lime juice.
  • Repeat the assembly process for all tortillas and serve immediately.
