  • 1 pound Beef Sirloin Slice into thin strips for quick cooking.
  • 1 cup Mushrooms Preferably cremini or button mushrooms.
  • 1 medium Onion Finely chopped.
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced.
  • 1 cup Beef Broth Essential for a rich sauce.
  • 1/2 cup Sour Cream Adds creaminess and tang.
  • 2 tablespoons Flour Used to thicken the sauce.
  • 2 tablespoons Butter For sautéing.

  • to garnish Parsley Fresh, chopped.

Instructions
 

  • Slice the beef sirloin into thin strips. Clean and slice the mushrooms, finely chop the onion, and mince the garlic.
  • Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chopped onions and sauté for 3-4 minutes until translucent.
  • Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute, stirring frequently.
  • Add sliced mushrooms and cook for 5-7 minutes until browned and moisture is released.
  • Push mushrooms to the side, add beef strips, season with salt and pepper, and sear for 2-3 minutes.
  • Stir beef and mushrooms together, sprinkle flour over the mixture, and stir to coat.
  • Pour in beef broth, stirring continuously, and bring to a simmer for 5-10 minutes until sauce thickens.
  • Reduce heat to low, stir in sour cream, and mix until creamy and smooth. Adjust seasoning if necessary.
  • Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes on low heat, then garnish with parsley and serve over egg noodles, rice, or mashed potatoes.
