Instructions
Slice the beef sirloin into thin strips. Clean and slice the mushrooms, finely chop the onion, and mince the garlic.
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chopped onions and sauté for 3-4 minutes until translucent.
Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute, stirring frequently.
Add sliced mushrooms and cook for 5-7 minutes until browned and moisture is released.
Push mushrooms to the side, add beef strips, season with salt and pepper, and sear for 2-3 minutes.
Stir beef and mushrooms together, sprinkle flour over the mixture, and stir to coat.
Pour in beef broth, stirring continuously, and bring to a simmer for 5-10 minutes until sauce thickens.
Reduce heat to low, stir in sour cream, and mix until creamy and smooth. Adjust seasoning if necessary.
Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes on low heat, then garnish with parsley and serve over egg noodles, rice, or mashed potatoes.
Notes
This dish is perfect for meal prep and can be reheated without losing its charm.
