  • 4 pieces Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts Approximately 1.5 to 2 pounds total.
  • 1 cup Pesto Sauce Your favorite store-bought or homemade pesto.
  • 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese Freshly grated is preferable.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Grease a baking dish with olive oil or cooking spray.
  • Place the chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish in a single layer.
  • Spread pesto sauce evenly over the top of each chicken breast.
  • Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the pesto-coated chicken.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil.
  • Bake covered for 25 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
  • Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  • Serve warm, drizzling any remaining pesto over the chicken.
