Instructions
Gather all ingredients on a clean countertop. Ensure canned tuna is well drained.
Slice the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl. Mash slightly, leaving some chunks.
Add the drained canned tuna to the bowl with the avocado and gently fold to combine.
Finely chop the red onion and add it to the mixture.
Dice the celery and incorporate it into the bowl.
Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the mixture.
Season with salt and pepper, adjusting to taste.
If desired, add fresh herbs and gently fold all ingredients together.
Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
Stir gently before serving.
