  • 1 can Tomato Sauce 8 oz.
  • 2 tablespoons Taco Seasoning Store-bought or homemade.
  • 2 cups Chicken Broth Low-sodium.
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil For sautéing vegetables.

  • Gather all your ingredients to streamline the cooking process.
  • In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and sauté for 3-4 minutes until translucent.
  • Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute, stirring frequently.
  • Incorporate diced bell peppers and sauté for about 5 minutes.
  • Add ground chicken or turkey, breaking it apart and cooking until browned, about 6-8 minutes.
  • Stir in taco seasoning, coating the meat and vegetables.
  • Add diced tomatoes and tomato sauce, stirring to combine.
  • Add black beans and kidney beans, stirring to incorporate.
  • Pour in chicken broth and bring to a gentle boil.
  • Reduce heat to low, cover, and let simmer for 20-30 minutes.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
