Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Rinse the asparagus under cold water and trim the tough ends. Pat dry with a paper towel.
Place the salmon fillets on a large sheet pan lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
Drizzle the salmon with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
In a mixing bowl, combine the asparagus with the remaining olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat.
Arrange the asparagus around the salmon on the sheet pan.
Squeeze fresh lemon juice over both the salmon and asparagus.
Roast in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
Remove from the oven and let rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
Garnish with fresh herbs and serve immediately.
