  • 1 can (15 ounces) Canned White Beans Drain and rinse to reduce sodium.
  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese Softened for easy blending.
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese Monterey Jack or cheddar works well.
  • 1 tablespoon Chili Powder Adds warmth and depth of flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder Infuses savory aroma.
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder Adds subtle sweetness.
  • 1 pinch Salt Adjust to taste.
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black Pepper Freshly cracked for best flavor.
  • 1 handful Fresh Cilantro Optional, for garnish.

Instructions
 

  • Drain and rinse the canned white beans under cold water and set aside.
  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese with the rinsed white beans and blend until smooth.
  • Add the shredded cheese to the mixture and stir well to incorporate.
  • Incorporate the chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Mix thoroughly.
  • Add freshly cracked black pepper to taste and mix again.
  • Transfer the mixture into a baking dish and spread evenly.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped cilantro if desired.
  • Serve warm with tortilla chips, vegetable sticks, or pita bread.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days. Reheat in the oven before serving.
