  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Ground Ginger
  • 1 teaspoon Salt

Pineapple Chunks

  • 1 cup Pineapple Chunks Fresh pineapple for grilling or adding to sauce.

Garnish

  • 1 tablespoon Chopped Green Onions For garnish.

Instructions
 

  • 1. Clean the chicken wings under cold running water and pat dry with paper towels.
  • 2. In a mixing bowl, combine brown sugar, pineapple juice, garlic powder, onion powder, ground ginger, and salt. Whisk until smooth.
  • 3. Place wings in a resealable bag or dish, pour marinade over, seal, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight.
  • 4. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) or prepare grill for medium heat.
  • 5. Remove wings from marinade, shake off excess, and arrange on a wire rack on a baking sheet.
  • 6. Grill wings for 25-30 minutes or bake for 35-40 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • 7. Prepare pineapple chunks by grilling or sautéing until caramelized.
  • 8. Let wings rest for a few minutes after cooking.
  • 9. Serve wings topped with grilled pineapple and garnish with green onions.
  • 10. Enjoy your wings hot!

Notes
