Instructions
 

  • Gather all your ingredients. Clean and pat the chicken legs dry with paper towels.
  • In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  • Place the chicken legs skin-side down in the skillet and sear for 5 to 7 minutes until golden brown.
  • Flip the chicken legs and cook for another 5 minutes until the other side is golden.
  • In a bowl, combine balsamic vinegar, honey, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Whisk until mixed.
  • Pour the glaze over the chicken in the skillet, coating all pieces generously.
  • Reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer for 20 to 25 minutes, turning occasionally.
  • Remove the lid and increase heat slightly to thicken the glaze during the last few minutes.
  • Ensure chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F, then remove from heat and let rest.
  • Transfer chicken to a serving platter, drizzle with remaining glaze, and garnish with fresh herbs.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!
