Instructions
Gather all your ingredients. Clean and pat the chicken legs dry with paper towels.
In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.
Place the chicken legs skin-side down in the skillet and sear for 5 to 7 minutes until golden brown.
Flip the chicken legs and cook for another 5 minutes until the other side is golden.
In a bowl, combine balsamic vinegar, honey, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Whisk until mixed.
Pour the glaze over the chicken in the skillet, coating all pieces generously.
Reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer for 20 to 25 minutes, turning occasionally.
Remove the lid and increase heat slightly to thicken the glaze during the last few minutes.
Ensure chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F, then remove from heat and let rest.
Transfer chicken to a serving platter, drizzle with remaining glaze, and garnish with fresh herbs.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
For variations, consider adding red pepper flakes for spice or lemon juice for zest.
