Salmon Patties Ingredients

  • 1 pound Fresh Salmon Skinless and deboned
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs Plain, fine breadcrumbs
  • 1 large Egg Acts as a binding agent
  • 1/4 cup Green Onions Finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon Mustard Adds tangy flavor
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning Classic seafood seasoning
  • to taste Salt Season to taste
  • to taste Black Pepper Freshly ground
  • 1/4 cup Vegetable Oil For frying

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the salmon by rinsing and patting dry. Chop into small pieces.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine chopped salmon, breadcrumbs, and green onions.
  • In a separate bowl, beat the egg and mix in mustard, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • Pour the egg mixture into the salmon mixture and combine until well mixed.
  • Shape the mixture into patties, about 1 inch thick.
  • Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and fry the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Transfer cooked patties to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
  • Serve warm with your choice of sides or dipping sauces.

Notes

For variations, consider adding spices, herbs, or different vegetables to the mixture.
