  • 2 cups Milk Adds creaminess to the gravy.
  • 16 ounces Refrigerated Biscuits Tops the casserole.
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese Adds a rich flavor.

Seasonings

  • 1 teaspoon Salt To season the meat and gravy.
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper To season the meat and gravy.
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder Optional seasoning.
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder Optional seasoning.

Garnish

  • 1 handful Fresh Parsley For garnish.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large skillet or casserole dish, add the frozen hashbrowns and spread them evenly.
  • Heat the skillet over medium heat and add the ground turkey or chicken. Season with salt, pepper, and other spices.
  • Cook until the meat is browned and fully cooked, about 7-10 minutes.
  • Add the gravy mix and milk to the skillet, stirring to combine. Simmer for 3-5 minutes until thickened.
  • Pour the gravy mixture over the hashbrowns in the casserole dish.
  • Cut each biscuit into quarters and scatter over the gravy mixture.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the biscuits.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes until biscuits are golden brown and bubbling.
  • Let cool for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
