Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Unroll the pre-made pie crusts onto a floured surface and roll slightly to flatten.
Cut out circles from the pie crust, about 4-5 inches in diameter.
Grease a muffin tin and press each pie crust circle into the cavities.
In a mixing bowl, combine sliced apples, brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Toss to coat.
Fill each pie crust with the apple mixture, leaving some room at the top.
Drizzle melted butter over each filled pie.
Fold the edges of the pie crust over the filling and crimp if desired.
Brush the tops with the egg wash and sprinkle with granulated sugar.
Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and filling is bubbling.
Let cool for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Serve warm or at room temperature.
Notes
These mini pies can be served with ice cream or whipped cream for an extra treat.
