Graham Crackers
Approximately 14 full sheets.

Unsalted Butter
Around 2 sticks.

Brown Sugar
Packed.

Chocolate Chips
Semi-sweet or milk chocolate.

Chopped Nuts
Optional, such as almonds or pecans.
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Arrange the graham crackers in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
Melt the unsalted butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
Add the packed brown sugar to the melted butter and stir continuously until it begins to boil. Allow it to boil for 3 to 4 minutes without stirring.
Carefully pour the hot toffee mixture evenly over the graham crackers.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 5 to 7 minutes until the toffee bubbles and puffs slightly.
Remove from the oven and sprinkle chocolate chips over the hot toffee.
Spread the melted chocolate evenly over the toffee layer.
If using, sprinkle chopped nuts over the melted chocolate.
Allow to cool completely at room temperature, then refrigerate for about 30 minutes to set.
Lift the parchment paper to remove the toffee and cut into squares or rectangles.
Serve and enjoy!

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
