For sautéing onions and garlic.
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the sliced onions and cook for 10-15 minutes until caramelized.
Add minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
In a bowl, mix ground beef with salt, pepper, and thyme.
Add the seasoned beef to the skillet and brown for 5-7 minutes.
Stir in beef broth and heavy cream, and let simmer for 5 minutes.
Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top.
Bake for 25-30 minutes until cheese is bubbling and golden brown.
Let it rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
