Ingredients
  

Dough

  • 1 pound Pizza Dough Store-bought or homemade

Filling

  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese Mozzarella or a blend of cheeses

Garlic Butter

  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted Butter For garlic butter topping
  • 2-3 cloves Garlic Fresh minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning For flavoring the garlic butter
  • 1 pinch Salt To taste
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil For greasing the baking sheet

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Grease a baking sheet with olive oil.
  • Roll the pizza dough into a rectangle, about 12 inches long and 6 inches wide.
  • Sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly across the center of the rectangle.
  • Fold the dough over the cheese and pinch the edges to seal.
  • Slice the dough log into 1-inch wide strips.
  • Place the sliced breadsticks on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Melt the butter in a saucepan, then add minced garlic and Italian seasoning.
  • Brush the garlic butter mixture over the tops of the breadsticks.
  • Sprinkle a pinch of salt over the breadsticks.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown and cheese is bubbling.
  • Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
  • Serve warm with marinara sauce if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
