Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Grease a baking sheet with olive oil.
Roll the pizza dough into a rectangle, about 12 inches long and 6 inches wide.
Sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly across the center of the rectangle.
Fold the dough over the cheese and pinch the edges to seal.
Slice the dough log into 1-inch wide strips.
Place the sliced breadsticks on the prepared baking sheet.
Melt the butter in a saucepan, then add minced garlic and Italian seasoning.
Brush the garlic butter mixture over the tops of the breadsticks.
Sprinkle a pinch of salt over the breadsticks.
Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown and cheese is bubbling.
Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
Serve warm with marinara sauce if desired.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
