  • 2 cans Cinnamon Roll Dough Each can typically contains 8 rolls.
  • 1 cup Caramel Sauce Use store-bought or homemade.
  • 1 cup Chopped Nuts (optional) Pecans or walnuts work well.
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon Enhances flavor.
  • 1/2 cup Melted Butter For a golden, crispy top.
  • to taste Whipped Cream (for serving) Optional topping.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
  • Pour the apple pie filling evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  • Open the cinnamon roll dough and cut each roll into quarters.
  • Scatter the pieces of cinnamon roll dough over the apple filling.
  • Drizzle the caramel sauce generously over the pieces of cinnamon roll dough.
  • If desired, sprinkle the chopped nuts over the top.
  • Mix the ground cinnamon with the melted butter and drizzle over the top.
  • Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until the cinnamon rolls are puffed and golden brown.
  • Allow to cool for about 10 minutes before serving.
  • Serve warm, optionally topped with whipped cream or extra caramel sauce.

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
