Ingredients
  

Pizza Dough

  • 1 pound Pizza Dough Store-bought or homemade.

Ricotta Cheese

  • 1 cup Ricotta Cheese Creamy cheese for topping.

Fresh Blackberries

  • 1 cup Fresh Blackberries Ripe and juicy for sweetness.

Fresh Basil

  • 1/4 cup Fresh Basil Leaves Torn or whole for flavor.

Olive Oil

  • 1-2 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil For drizzling over pizza.

Salt and Pepper

  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt To taste.
  • 1 pinch Black Pepper Freshly ground, to taste.

Balsamic Glaze

  • 1 tablespoon Balsamic Glaze Optional for finishing touch.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) and place a pizza stone inside if using.
  • Prepare the pizza dough by rolling it out on a floured surface to about 1/4 inch thick.
  • Transfer the rolled-out dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet or pizza peel.
  • Spread the ricotta cheese evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  • Scatter the blackberries evenly across the ricotta layer.
  • Sprinkle the torn basil leaves over the pizza.
  • Drizzle olive oil over the pizza and season with salt and pepper.
  • Carefully transfer the pizza into the oven or onto the preheated pizza stone.
  • Bake for about 12-15 minutes until the edges are golden brown and the ricotta is bubbly.
  • Remove from the oven, let cool for a few minutes, then drizzle with balsamic glaze if desired and slice to serve.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
