Bread

  • 2 slices Sourdough Bread Provides a robust flavor and chewy texture.

Fruits

Condiments

  • 2 tablespoons Balsamic Reduction Adds tangy depth to the sandwich.

Cheese

Instructions
 

  • Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  • Lay the sourdough bread slices flat on a clean surface.
  • On one slice of bread, evenly distribute the shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Wash the blackberries and pat them dry. Add them on top of the cheese.
  • Drizzle balsamic reduction over the blackberries.
  • Top with the second slice of sourdough bread and press down gently.
  • Spread 1 tablespoon of butter on the outer side of the top slice of bread.
  • Place the sandwich in the skillet, buttered side down, and cook for 3-4 minutes.
  • Butter the top slice of bread while the first side is cooking.
  • Flip the sandwich and cook for another 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
  • Remove the sandwich from the skillet and let it cool for a minute before slicing.
  • Slice the sandwich in half diagonally and drizzle more balsamic reduction before serving.
  • Serve immediately while warm.

Notes

For variations, consider adding fresh basil, jalapeños, or different cheeses.
