Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
  • In a large bowl, combine flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  • In another bowl, whisk together melted butter, milk, and egg.
  • Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  • Knead the dough gently on a floured surface for about 1 minute.
  • Roll the dough into a rectangular shape, approximately 12x18 inches.
  • Spread melted butter for the filling over the rolled-out dough.
  • Mix brown sugar and cinnamon together, then sprinkle over the butter.
  • Roll the dough into a tight log and pinch the seam to seal.
  • Slice the log into 12 equal pieces.
  • Place the sliced rolls into a greased baking dish.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  • Allow to cool for 10 minutes before serving.

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
