Instructions
In a medium mixing bowl, combine the diced apples, caramel sauce, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Stir well to ensure the apples are evenly coated with the sweet mixture. Set aside.
Lay out wonton wrappers on a clean surface in a diamond shape with one corner facing you.
Place about 1 tablespoon of the apple-caramel mixture in the center of each wonton wrapper.
Moisten the edges of the wonton wrapper with a little water to help seal them.
Fold the bottom corner of the wrapper over the filling to the top corner, forming a triangle shape. Press edges firmly to seal.
Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for about 5 minutes.
Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and arrange wontons in a single layer.
Lightly spray the tops of the wontons with cooking spray and cook for 8-10 minutes, checking for golden-brown perfection.
Remove wontons from the air fryer and allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Serve warm, drizzled with caramel sauce or with a scoop of ice cream. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
