Instructions
 

  • Prepare your ingredients by chopping the carrots, celery, and onion into small pieces. Mince the garlic and set aside.
  • Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of the slow cooker.
  • Add the chopped carrots, celery, and onions over the chicken.
  • Pour in the chicken broth over the ingredients, ensuring it covers everything.
  • Sprinkle the minced garlic, salt, pepper, and dried thyme over the mixture and stir gently.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
  • Once cooked, shred the chicken directly in the slow cooker and mix it back into the broth.
  • Add the egg noodles and stir gently to combine.
  • Cover and cook on high for an additional 30 minutes, or until the noodles are tender.
  • Taste and adjust seasonings as necessary before serving.
  • Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.

Notes
