Instructions
Gather all your ingredients on a clean countertop.
In a mixing bowl, add 1 cup of softened unsalted butter. Beat the butter on medium speed until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
Slowly pour in ½ cup of honey while continuing to beat the mixture until fully combined.
If using, add 1 teaspoon of cinnamon and mix on low speed until evenly distributed.
If using, add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and mix for another 30 seconds.
Scrape down the sides of the bowl to ensure everything is mixed uniformly. Taste and adjust sweetness or spice as desired.
Transfer the honey butter into a clean, airtight container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Once chilled, serve on warm bread, muffins, pancakes, or as a dip for fresh fruit.
Notes
Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to two weeks. Allow to reach room temperature before serving for easy spreading.
