Instructions
In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, chopped green onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
Lay out wonton wrappers on a clean surface. Place a teaspoon of filling in the center of each wrapper.
Moisten the edges of the wonton wrapper with water to help seal.
Fold the wrapper in half to form a triangle and press the edges to seal.
Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot over medium-high heat. Test the oil temperature with a small piece of wonton wrapper.
Fry wontons for 3-4 minutes until golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towels.
For baking, preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake wontons for 15-20 minutes until crispy.
Serve warm with dipping sauces like sweet and sour or soy sauce.
Notes
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to three days. Reheat in the oven for crispiness.
