Sauce Ingredients

To taste.
Instructions
Gather all your ingredients on a clean countertop.
Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
Add the sliced chicken breast and cook for 5-7 minutes until no longer pink.
Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
Add minced garlic and ginger to the skillet, stirring for 30 seconds.
Add bell peppers and carrots, stir-frying for 3-4 minutes.
Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and stir to combine.
Pour in soy sauce and sesame oil, stirring to coat.
Mix cornstarch with water and pour into the skillet while stirring.
Add cooked chow mein noodles and toss gently to combine.
Sprinkle chopped green onions over the chow mein and toss again.
Let the chow mein sit for a minute before serving.
Serve hot, garnished with additional green onions if desired.

For variations, consider using tofu for a vegetarian option or adding different vegetables.
