  • 2 fillets Fresh Salmon Fillets Approximately 6 ounces each.

Seasoning

  • 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt For seasoning the salmon.
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black Pepper Freshly cracked.

Cooking Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil Extra virgin for pan-searing.
  • 3 tablespoons Unsalted Butter For the lemon butter sauce.
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Lemon Juice Juice of one large lemon.
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh Lemon Zest Grated zest for flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley Chopped for garnish.

Instructions
 

  • Gather all ingredients and prepare them for cooking.
  • Season the salmon fillets with salt and black pepper on both sides.
  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil.
  • Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes.
  • Flip the fillets and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until done.
  • In a separate saucepan, melt the butter and add lemon juice and zest.
  • Remove salmon from skillet, drizzle with lemon butter sauce, and garnish with parsley.
