Instructions
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
Wash and scrub the potatoes thoroughly. Cut them into even-sized sticks, about ¼ inch thick.
Rinse the cut fries under cold water to remove excess starch, then drain and pat them dry.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the dried fries with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Toss until evenly coated.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the fries in a single layer.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden-brown and crispy.
Remove from the oven and sprinkle grated parmesan cheese over the hot fries.
Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve immediately.
