Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Wash and scrub the potatoes thoroughly. Cut them into even-sized sticks, about ¼ inch thick.
  • Rinse the cut fries under cold water to remove excess starch, then drain and pat them dry.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the dried fries with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Toss until evenly coated.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the fries in a single layer.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden-brown and crispy.
  • Remove from the oven and sprinkle grated parmesan cheese over the hot fries.
  • Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

For variations, consider adding cayenne pepper for spice or using sweet potatoes for a healthier option.
