Add according to preference.
Instructions
Heat a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat. Add olive oil and sauté the chopped onion for 3-4 minutes until translucent.
Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
Add ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks. Brown for 5-7 minutes until fully cooked.
Incorporate sliced mushrooms and cook for 3-4 minutes until softened.
Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, mixing well with the meat and vegetables.
Add green beans and stir to combine.
Season with salt, pepper, and any additional spices to taste.
Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top and cover the pot with a lid.
Reduce heat to low and let simmer for 15-20 minutes.
Remove lid and check consistency. Cook uncovered for an additional 5 minutes if thicker consistency is desired.
Serve warm, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
