  • 1.5 pounds Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breast Cut into bite-sized pieces.
  • 1 cup Long-Grain White Rice Acts as the base for the dish.
  • 4-6 cloves Garlic Minced for flavor.
  • 2 cups Low-Sodium Chicken Broth Enhances flavor and moisture.
  • 1 cup Fresh Parmesan Cheese Grated for creamy sauce.
  • 2 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil For sautéing.
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted Butter Adds richness.
  • 1 medium Onion Finely chopped.
  • Freshly Ground Black Pepper To taste.
  • Fresh Parsley Chopped, for garnish (optional).

Instructions
 

  • Prepare all ingredients: dice chicken, mince garlic, chop onion, and grate parmesan.
  • Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Sauté onion for 3-4 minutes until translucent.
  • Add minced garlic and sauté for an additional minute until fragrant.
  • Add chicken pieces, season with black pepper, and cook for 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  • Stir in the rice, coating it with the mixture.
  • Pour in chicken broth and bring to a gentle boil. Scrape any browned bits from the pot.
  • Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes until rice is tender.
  • Remove from heat, stir in parmesan cheese and butter until melted and creamy.
  • Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

Notes

This dish can be customized with vegetables or different proteins. Adjust seasoning to taste.
