1/4
cup
Powdered Sugar
Optional for dusting the finished tree.
Colorful Sprinkles
Optional for decoration.
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Lightly flour your work surface and roll out one sheet of puff pastry into a rectangle, about ¼ inch thick.
Spread a generous layer of Nutella over the puff pastry, leaving a small border around the edges.
Place the second sheet of puff pastry on top and press down gently to seal the edges.
Cut the pastry into a tree shape, creating a triangle for the top and smaller triangles for branches.
Twist each branch to create a spiral effect.
Brush the entire surface with beaten egg.
Bake for 20-25 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
Allow to cool, then dust with powdered sugar and add sprinkles if desired.
Slice and serve warm, optionally with additional Nutella or ice cream.
Notes
For best results, ensure all ingredients are at room temperature. You can customize the filling and decorations to suit your taste.
