Instructions
In a medium-sized bowl, combine honey, lime juice, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well incorporated.
Cut the chicken breasts into 1-inch cubes and place them in a large resealable plastic bag or bowl.
Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring each piece is well-coated. Seal the bag or cover the bowl and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning.
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (around 400°F or 200°C).
Remove the chicken from the marinade, allowing excess to drip off. Discard the leftover marinade.
Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto the skewers, leaving space between each piece.
Grill the skewers for approximately 10-12 minutes, turning halfway through, until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
Let the skewers rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with freshly chopped cilantro.
Notes
For variations, consider adding vegetables to the skewers or marinating overnight for deeper flavor.
