Instructions

  • In a medium-sized bowl, combine honey, lime juice, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well incorporated.
  • Cut the chicken breasts into 1-inch cubes and place them in a large resealable plastic bag or bowl.
  • Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring each piece is well-coated. Seal the bag or cover the bowl and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  • If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning.
  • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (around 400°F or 200°C).
  • Remove the chicken from the marinade, allowing excess to drip off. Discard the leftover marinade.
  • Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto the skewers, leaving space between each piece.
  • Grill the skewers for approximately 10-12 minutes, turning halfway through, until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  • Let the skewers rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with freshly chopped cilantro.

Notes

For variations, consider adding vegetables to the skewers or marinating overnight for deeper flavor.
