Ingredients
  

Chicken Breast

  • 4 pieces Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts Approximately 1.5 to 2 pounds total.

Marinade Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Honey Adds sweetness and helps caramelize the chicken.
  • 1/4 cup Lemon Juice Juice from 2 large lemons.
  • 4-5 cloves Garlic, minced Imparts robust flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil Helps emulsify the marinade.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt To taste.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper To taste.

Optional Garnish

  • 1 handful Fresh Herbs (Parsley or Thyme) For garnish.

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine honey, lemon juice, minced garlic, and olive oil. Whisk until well mixed.
  • Pat chicken breasts dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  • Place chicken in a resealable bag or dish, pour marinade over, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) or grill to medium-high heat.
  • Cook chicken in the oven for 20-25 minutes or grill for 6-7 minutes on each side until fully cooked.
  • Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  • Garnish with fresh herbs and serve.
