Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine honey, BBQ sauce, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well blended.
  • Place salmon fillets in a shallow dish or resealable plastic bag. Pour marinade over salmon, ensuring each piece is coated. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.
  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  • Remove salmon from marinade and place on the prepared baking sheet, skin side down.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until salmon flakes easily and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  • For a caramelized finish, switch to broil for the last 2-3 minutes of cooking.
  • Let salmon rest for a few minutes, then garnish with fresh parsley or cilantro before serving.
