  • 4 large Flour Tortillas Soft and pliable for folding.
  • 1 lb Beef Steak Thinly sliced ribeye or sirloin.
  • 1 cup Bell Peppers Mixed green and red, sliced.
  • 1 medium Onion Thinly sliced.
  • 2 cups Cheddar Cheese Shredded for melting.
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil For sautéing.
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder Enhances flavor.
  • to taste Salt and Pepper For seasoning.

Instructions
 

  • 1. Prepare your ingredients by thinly slicing the beef steak, onions, and bell peppers.
  • 2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced onions and sauté for 3-4 minutes until translucent.
  • 3. Add sliced bell peppers to the skillet and sauté for another 3-5 minutes until tender.
  • 4. Push vegetables to the side and add thinly sliced beef. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for 4-5 minutes until browned.
  • 5. Remove skillet from heat and prepare a clean skillet over medium heat for cooking quesadillas.
  • 6. Lay one tortilla flat, sprinkle cheese over half, add beef and vegetable mixture, and top with more cheese before folding.
  • 7. Transfer folded quesadilla to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
  • 8. Flip quesadilla and cook for another 3-4 minutes until cheese is melted and tortilla is crispy.
  • 9. Remove from skillet, let cool for a minute, then cut into wedges.
  • 10. Repeat with remaining ingredients and serve warm with dipping sauces.

Notes

For variations, consider adding jalapeños for spice, mushrooms for heartiness, or using different cheeses.
