Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour Spoon and level for accurate measurement.
  • 3/4 cup Granulated Sugar Adds sweetness and texture.
  • 2 teaspoons Baking Powder Leavening agent for fluffiness.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt Balances sweetness.

Wet Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup Milk Whole milk preferred.
  • 1/4 cup Vegetable Oil Keeps donuts moist.
  • 1 large Egg Binds ingredients together.

Filling and Topping

  • 1/2 cup Jelly or Jam Choose your favorite flavor.
  • 1/2 cup Powdered Sugar For dusting the donuts.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Whisk until well blended.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, vegetable oil, and egg until smooth.
  • Gradually pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
  • Grease a donut pan with cooking spray or oil.
  • Fill each cavity of the donut pan about halfway with the batter.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Let the donuts cool for a few minutes, then release them from the pan and cool completely on a wire rack.
  • Fill each donut with jelly using a piping bag.
  • Dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to two days. Reheat in the oven for best results.
