Broth Ingredients

Vegetables

Instructions
 

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, salt, and baking soda. Whisk until well combined.
  • Add the egg to the dry mixture and combine with your hands or a fork. Gradually pour in the water until the dough comes together.
  • Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  • Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and let it rest for at least 30 minutes.
  • Divide the dough into four portions and roll out each portion to about 1/8 inch thick. Cut into thin strips.
  • Boil a large pot of water and cook the noodles for 2-3 minutes until they float and are tender.
  • In a separate pot, combine the broth, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic powder, and ginger powder. Simmer gently.
  • Drain the noodles and add them to the simmering broth. Stir in vegetables and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  • Serve hot, garnished with optional toppings.
