  • 2 pounds Chicken pieces Thighs, drumsticks, or breasts can be used.
  • 1/3 cup Honey Pure honey for the glaze.
  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce Low-sodium soy sauce recommended.
  • 3-4 cloves Garlic Minced.
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger Grated or minced.
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil For cooking the chicken.

  • 2 tablespoons Green onions Chopped, for garnish.

Instructions
 

  • Start by preparing your chicken. Rinse under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Whisk until smooth.
  • Add salt and pepper to the glaze mixture to taste.
  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil.
  • Place chicken pieces in the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes on one side until golden brown.
  • Flip the chicken and pour the honey glaze over it, ensuring each piece is coated.
  • Reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and cook for an additional 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally.
  • Check for doneness with a meat thermometer (165°F or 75°C) or by cutting into the chicken.
  • Remove from heat and let the chicken rest for a few minutes.
  • Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
  • Serve warm with your choice of side dishes.

Notes

For variations, consider adding red pepper flakes for spice or marinating the chicken in the glaze for deeper flavor.
