Vegetable Ingredients

Pre-made, one for the top and one for the bottom.
Instructions
1. Prepare the beef by cutting it into 1-inch cubes and seasoning with salt and pepper.
2. In a skillet, heat oil and sear the beef cubes until browned, about 3-4 minutes per side.
3. Transfer the browned beef to the crock pot.
4. In the same skillet, sauté onions, carrots, celery, and garlic for about 5 minutes.
5. Add the sautéed vegetables to the crock pot over the beef.
6. Layer cubed potatoes and frozen peas on top of the vegetables.
7. Pour beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and thyme over the mixture and stir gently.
8. Cover the crock pot and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
9. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) about an hour before serving.
10. Prepare the pie crusts according to package instructions.
11. Ladle the beef mixture into the bottom pie crust in a pie dish.
12. Cover with the second pie crust, seal edges, and cut slits in the top crust.
13. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the crust is golden brown.
14. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Consider adding different vegetables or herbs for variations. This dish can also be made with chicken or turkey.
