Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Cut the brioche bread into 1-inch cubes.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk the eggs until fully combined.
Add the whole milk to the egg mixture and whisk until incorporated.
Incorporate the granulated sugar, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, and vanilla flavoring into the egg mixture and whisk until well blended.
Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with 2 tablespoons of melted butter.
Place the cubed brioche bread into the greased baking dish evenly.
Pour the custard mixture over the bread cubes, ensuring all pieces are soaked.
Cover the baking dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight.
Remove the casserole from the refrigerator and drizzle the remaining melted butter over the top.
Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
Let it cool for a few minutes before serving warm with your choice of toppings.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat in the oven for best results.
