Homemade Chicken Parmesan Sliders for a Cozy Night

Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Slice the chicken breasts into thin fillets, about 1/2 inch thick.
Set up a breading station: Place the beaten egg in one bowl and the seasoned bread crumbs in another. Dip each chicken fillet into the egg, then coat with bread crumbs.
In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Cook the breaded chicken fillets for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Spread 1/2 cup of marinara sauce in a baking dish.
Place the bottom halves of the slider buns in the baking dish, then layer the cooked chicken fillets on top.
Spoon more marinara sauce over the chicken and top with mozzarella cheese slices.
Cover with the top halves of the buns and cover the dish with aluminum foil.
Bake for 15 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly.
Let the sliders cool for a few minutes, then sprinkle with chopped fresh basil before serving.
Slice the sliders and serve warm.
