Ingredients
  

Chicken

  • 1.5 pounds Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts Pounded to even thickness for even cooking.

Cheese

  • 6 ounces Swiss Cheese Sliced thinly for easy melting.

Buns

  • 12 pieces Slider Buns Soft and slightly sweet.

Condiments

  • 2 tablespoons Dijon Mustard Adds a zesty kick.

Coating

  • 1 cup Seasoned Breadcrumbs For coating the chicken.

Binding

  • 2 large Eggs Whisked for binding breadcrumbs.

Seasoning

  • to taste Salt and Pepper For seasoning the chicken.

Oil

  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil For drizzling over chicken before baking.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness, about half an inch.
  • Season both sides of the chicken with salt and pepper.
  • Set up a breading station: whisk the eggs in one bowl and place breadcrumbs in another.
  • Dip each chicken breast into the egg mixture, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  • Place the breaded chicken on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Drizzle olive oil over the breaded chicken.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through and golden brown.
  • While chicken is baking, prepare the slider buns by cutting them in half and toasting if desired.
  • Once chicken is done, let it rest for a few minutes.
  • Assemble sliders with chicken, Swiss cheese, and Dijon mustard on the buns.
  • Optionally, return assembled sliders to the oven for 5 minutes to melt cheese.
  • Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For variations, try different cheeses or add jalapeños for heat. Serve with sweet potato fries or a salad.
