Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until translucent.
Add ground hamburger and ground sausage to the skillet. Cook until browned, breaking apart with a spoon.
Incorporate chopped bell peppers and cook until softened.
Add pepperoni slices and mix well.
Season with salt, pepper, oregano, and Italian seasoning. Adjust to taste.
Stir in cooked pasta or rice until well combined.
Transfer the mixture into a pie dish and smooth out the filling.
Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top.
Place the pie crust over the cheese, trim excess, and crimp edges to seal.
Cut slits in the top crust to allow steam to escape.
Bake for 25-30 minutes until the crust is golden brown and cheese is bubbling.
Allow to cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
Consider adding vegetables like zucchini or mushrooms for variation. You can also use different cheeses for unique flavors.
