Instructions
 

  • Rinse the tomatoes under cold water, pat dry, and cut into wedges or bite-sized pieces.
  • Finely mince the garlic and add it to the bowl with the tomatoes.
  • Prepare the basil by rinsing, drying, and tearing or slicing it into ribbons.
  • Add the basil to the tomato and garlic mixture.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
  • Drizzle the dressing over the salad and toss gently to combine.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Let the salad sit for 10-15 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
