Season the chicken breasts generously on both sides with salt and pepper.
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil. Allow it to heat for about 2 minutes until it shimmers.
Carefully place the seasoned chicken breasts into the skillet. Sear the chicken for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
Remove the chicken from the skillet and cover with aluminum foil to keep warm.
In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Pour in the chicken broth, scraping the bottom of the skillet to deglaze. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
Return the chicken breasts to the skillet and allow them to soak in the garlicky broth for an additional 2 minutes.
Remove from heat and sprinkle the chopped parsley over the chicken.
Serve hot, drizzled with the garlic sauce from the skillet.
Notes
For variations, consider adding cream for a richer sauce, or vegetables for added nutrition.
