  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 can (15 ounces) Black Beans Drained and rinsed
  • ½ cup Chopped Green Onions For garnish
  • 1 can (10 ounces) Diced Tomatoes with Green Chilies
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Chili Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Salt Adjust to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon Black Pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sour cream until smooth and creamy.
  • Add the shredded cheddar cheese, black beans, chopped green onions, and diced tomatoes with green chilies. Mix gently until well combined.
  • Sprinkle in the garlic powder, chili powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir thoroughly to distribute the spices evenly.
  • Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish and spread it evenly.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbling and slightly golden on the edges.
  • Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with extra chopped green onions or shredded cheese if desired.
  • Serve warm with tortilla chips, fresh vegetables, or pita bread.
