Ingredients
  

Beef Chops

  • 4 pieces Bone-in Beef Chops Approximately 1 inch thick for even cooking.

Brown Sugar

  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar Light or dark brown sugar can be used.

Spices

  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Adjust to taste.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper Freshly ground for best flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil For marinating the chops.

Optional Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Herbs Finely chopped rosemary or thyme, optional.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and olive oil to create a marinade.
  • Pat the beef chops dry with paper towels.
  • Coat each beef chop generously with the marinade and let sit for at least 30 minutes.
  • Arrange the beef chops on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake for approximately 25-30 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  • Baste the chops with remaining marinade halfway through cooking.
  • Let the beef chops rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  • Serve with your preferred sides.

Notes

For a crispy texture, broil the beef chops for the last 2-3 minutes of cooking.
